The von der Becke factory owner's house , also called Reidemeisterhaus, is a secular building under monument protection in Hemer - Dieken , Stephanopeler Straße 42, at the northern end of the Stephanopeler valley.

The two-storey representative factory owner's house from the time of early industrialization was built in 1796 as an eaves house on a high basement plinth made of quarry stone with a slate mansard roof in a house pond. The house pond was created by damming the mill of the Sundwiger Bach. The street-side facade is divided into five axes with stone window frames and a central entrance, also in a simple stone frame. The house has a depth of 3 axes. There are flat relief arches above the windows and the door with a two-part skylight . The door has an early classical door leaf with a simple cassette . A lion's head made of brass is attached as a door knocker . Of east input lying with a high level is reached Beischlag provided geradläufige staircase with lateral seats. This staircase, in front of which there is a forecourt, also functions as a bridge over the house pond.

A board-clad fronton with an oculus is located above the three central axes in the plane of the wall surface . An intricate ligature with the letters "MvdB" in the middle, including the year 1796, is carved in the ocular with a circumferential kymation . There is a flat roof dormer on each of the outer axes in the mansard roof . At the back of the house there is also an entrance with a flight of stairs and an accessory, but without benches. The broken stone of the entire building is grouted in white.

The factory owner's house is separated from the street by a front garden. The access route to the building is closed by a three-part wrought iron gate.

In 2001 the house was entered as an office building under the serial number 77 in the list of monuments of the city of Hemer .
