Fabrizio Gabella

Fabrizio Gabella (born December 16, 1921 in Rome ) is an Italian film producer and film director .

Life

Gabella, a journalist by training, turned to cinema between 1958 and 1963, mainly as executive producer for Globe International Film. Most of them were co-productions with France. Later he became head of the press office of the "Ital Noleggio Cinematografico". In 1963 he shot the documentary Questo mondo proibito u. a. in collaboration with Salvatore Quasimodo and Alba de Céspedes , which was not circulated until 1967 after problems with censorship. In the same year he also staged a Mondo wave product , Sexy che scotta , under the pseudonym Franco Macchi .
