Specialized information service for criminology

The specialized information service for criminology (FID Kriminologie) is a specialized information service for science , which is operated as a cooperation project between the institute for criminology and the university library of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . Its task is to provide the criminological specialist community with specialist scientific literature and other research and subject-related information.

history

Since 1969 , criminological literature has been extensively acquired and collected at the University of Tübingen, initially as part of the “collecting focus on criminology”, and from 2011 to 2013 as the “ special collection area of criminology” (SSG). Since 2014, the acquisition of specific specialist literature has been continued as part of the “Specialized Information Service for Criminology”. Right from the start, this collection has been built up in close cooperation between the Institute for Criminology and the University Library of Tübingen and funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
