Specialist for Warehouse Management

The training regulations for warehouse management specialists came into force on August 1, 1991 and expired on August 1, 2004. The profession of warehouse management specialist was replaced by the successor profession of warehouse logistics specialist .

Warehousing specialists are employed in industry , in retail and wholesale, or at forwarding companies. There they mainly work in the warehouse, but also in factories or in sales.

Warehousing specialists control the inventory , manage, pick and optimize all processes in the areas of incoming goods, outgoing goods and warehousing as well as in purchasing and sales (variable depending on the company).
