The Trade Association for Trade Fairs and Exhibitions (FAMA) is a registered association with headquarters in Nuremberg , in which organizers of trade and consumer fairs at regional locations have organized themselves as joint representatives. It currently has 39 members.

Most of the members are tenants of the exhibition grounds on which they hold their events . Although it is not necessary for membership in the FAMA to have the events checked by the Society for the Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics, most organizers still opt for a voluntary control. The association has been a member of AUMA since the 1960s . As an association, it endeavors to contribute to the seriousness of regional events in cooperation with other bodies.

FAMA appears in the press with community advertisements by its members and event previews.
