The canton of Calcha "K" is a municipality in the Bolivian department of Potosí .
Location in the vicinity
The canton (Spanish: Cantón ) Calcha "K" is one of twelve cantons in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Colcha "K" in the province of Nor Lípez . It borders in the north with the canton of Santiago , in the north-west with the canton Julaca , in the west with the canton San Juan , in the south-west with the province Enrique Baldivieso , in the south with the canton San Cristóbal , and in the east with the canton Río Grande .
The canton extends between about 20 ° 55 'and 21 ° 08' southern latitude and 67 ° 23 'and 67 ° 37' western longitude, it measures 28 kilometers from north to south and 33 kilometers from west to east. In the southern part of the canton is the canton's administrative seat, Calcha "K" , with 510 inhabitants ( 2001 census ). The mean altitude of the canton is 3700 m .
