The canton of San Cristóbal is a municipality in the Department of Potosí in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The Cantón San Cristóbal is one of twelve cantons in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Colcha "K" in the province of Nor Lípez . It borders in the north on the canton Río Grande , in the northwest on the canton Colcha "K" , in the west on the province Enrique Baldivieso , in the south on the province Sur Lípez , and in the east on the canton Cocani .
The canton extends between about 20 ° 50 'and 21 ° 42' south latitude and 66 ° 45 'and 67 ° 33' west longitude, it measures from north to south up to 105 km, from west to east 75 km. In the northern part of the canton is the administrative seat of the canton, San Cristóbal , with 922 inhabitants ( 2001 census ).
