The canton of Cocani is a district in the Bolivian department of Potosí .
location
The canton (Spanish: Cantón ) Cocani is one of twelve cantons in the district (Bolivian: Municipio ) Colcha "K" in the province of Nor Lípez . It borders in the north with the canton Río Grande , in the west with the canton San Cristóbal , in the south with the province Sur Lípez , and in the east with the province Sur Chichas .
The canton extends between about 20 ° 47 'and 21 ° 26' south latitude and 66 ° 17 'and 66 ° 58' west longitude, it measures 90 kilometers from north to south and 75 kilometers from west to east. In the southern part of the canton is the canton's administrative seat, Cocani , with 166 inhabitants ( 2001 census ).

The canton of Cocani is located on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera de Lípez in the southeast at the Salar de Uyuni salt lake .
