Calcha "K" is a town in the Potosí department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Calcha "K" is the central place of the canton Calcha "K" and is located in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Colcha "K" in the province of Nor Lípez at an altitude of 3697 m , thirty kilometers south of the Salar de Uyuni salt lake .

Calcha "K" is located on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andean mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera de Lípez in the southeast. Behind the bridge, a country road branches off in a north-westerly direction and reaches Julaca after 66 kilometers via the town of Río Grande on the railway line .
