Facundo Mallo , full name Facundo Mallo Blanco , (born January 16, 1995 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.86 meter tall defensive player Mallo has been in the squad of the professional team of Liverpool Montevideo since at least the 2014/15 season . In that second division season he made his debut on November 15, 2014 in a 6-0 home win against Club Atlético Progreso in the Segunda División , when he was substituted on by coach Alejandro Apud in the 66th minute for Gonzalo Freitas . By the end of the season, when his club rose to the highest Uruguayan league, he completed a total of 13 second division games and scored three goals. In the first division season 2015/16 he was used 18 times (no goal) in the Primera División . He was also used in five games (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 2016 . The team finished the competition in second place after losing 1-0 in the final against São Paulo FC . During the 2016 season, he played 14 top division games (no goal). In the current 2017 season he has so far (as of February 10, 2017) played once (no goal) in the league.
