Facundo Rodríguez , full name Facundo Rodríguez Grandillo , (born February 8, 1995 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall offensive player Rodríguez played in youth football in 2011 for the U-16s and in 2012 for the team of the Quinta División at the Montevideo Wanderers . He then moved to Liverpool FC within Montevideos , where he was active in both the Cuarta División (U-19) and the Tercera División reserve (Formativas) in 2013 and 2014. He then joined the Villa Teresa association, which is also based in his hometown , and initially belonged to the reserve in the Tercera División in 2015. He made his debut in the Primera División in the Apertura 2015 on October 25, 2015 in a 2-1 home defeat against Racing Club de Montevideo , when he was substituted on by coach Vito Beato in the 83rd minute for Michel Miranda . In the 2015/16 season he played five first division matches (no goal) and was relegated with the club at the end of the season. During the 2016 season he played twelve second division games (two goals).
