Fadika Kramo-Lanciné

Fadika Kramo-Lanciné (born 1948 in Danané ) is a director , writer and filmmaker from Ivory Coast . In Germany he is best known for his film Die Kaste (org. Djeli, conte d'aujourd'hui) , which was first broadcast in May 1982 on ARD .

life and work

Fadika Kramo-Lanciné studied modern literature at the University of Abidjan and then film studies at the École Louis-Lumière in Paris. From 1975 he filmed educational films and television programs on the subject of development for the Office National de Promotion Rurale . In his main work Die Kaste , Fadika Kramo-Lanciné tells of the difficulties that the traditional social structure of his country is creating in the present. He uses the form of a love story for this.

From 2013 to 2016 Fadika Kramo-Lanciné was Director General of the Office National du Cinéma de Côte d'Ivoire (ONAC-CI). 2019 his novel Les Tribulations d'un film Africain, he occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Festival du cinéma et de la télévision Panafrican de Ouagadougou presented .
