Fagatogo is located on the island of Tutuila , the main island of the US overseas territory American Samoa . The population on April 1, 2009 according to the US Census was 3,000. In the American Samoa Constitution, Fagatogo is the official seat of government . The village is also home to the Archdiocese of Pago Pago St. John's Cathedrale and the American Samoa Fono parliament building .
