The Faichuk Islands are a group of islands in the southwestern part of the Chuuk Atoll , Federated States of Micronesia .

The main island is Tol . The island group also includes the inhabited islands of Wonei , Polle and Paata in the immediate vicinity of Tol, as well as the islands of Eot , Romonum , Fanapanges and Udot further east .

In addition, some small, uninhabited islands belong to the archipelago, namely Kunu and Fanesich west of Romonum , Fanurmot and Fourup south of Fanapanges , Onamue west of Polle and the small sandy island Pisan north of Udot . From the extensive mangrove area between the main islands Wonei and Paata rise the small islands Onas and Anakun , which are only accessible through narrow boat channels that were created through the mangrove thicket.
