The Fairway Rock (from English fairway , Fahrwasser, Fahrrinne ' ) is a reef rock washed over by the sea at the southeastern end of South Georgia . It is located in the center of Larsen Harbor .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1927. They named it so because it is in the navigable area of Larsen Harbor.
