The fact is! (Original spelling: FAKT IST !; former spelling: Fact is ...!) Is a talk show by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk , which is broadcast on MDR television on Mondays after 10 p.m. It is produced alternately in the three state broadcasting houses.
The program was previously produced in Leipzig Central Station . The moderators discuss current and controversial topics with celebrities, but also with guests from everyday life, especially from the perspective of people in the new federal states. The TV viewers have the opportunity to express their opinions via chat, Facebook or email and thus participate in the design of the program.
The program is similar to the talk show hart but fair , which is produced by Westdeutscher Rundfunk .
