Falko Grube (born March 20, 1977 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

biography

After graduating from high school and doing community service, Falko Grube studied economics, political science and history at the University of Magdeburg from 1996, completing a Magister Artium in 2003. He received his doctorate there in 2010.

Grube has been working for the SPD since 2003, initially as a parliamentary group assistant in the Magdeburg city council until 2007 and since 2006 as the office manager of the parliamentary group chairman in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt. After that he was press spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group there until 2015. From 2015 until he moved into the state parliament, he was employed in the Ministry of Culture of Saxony-Anhalt.

Grube has been a member of the SPD since 1999 and has been its chairman in Magdeburg since 2010. Since 2014 he has held a mandate on the Magdeburg City Council. In May 2016 he replaced Jörg Felgner, who had moved to the ministerial office, in the state parliament.
