The Falla Bluff is a rock cliff at the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Lands . It is at the head of Utstikkar Bay .
It was discovered in February 1931 by participants in the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . He named it after Robert Alexander Falla (1901–1979), the New Zealand ornithologist on the research trip .
