The parachute jumper badge of the Bundeswehr is a special badge as a functional badge which is awarded for a certain number of jumps with a parachute from the aircraft of the Bundeswehr (e.g. the Transall or the CH-53 ). Jumps from other aircraft can be recognized.

Level I in bronze is awarded after successfully completing the skydiving course at the air landing and air transport school .

After successfully completing the skydiving course, the participants receive a course certificate, which is also a certificate of possession for the special badge .

stages

The parachutist badge is awarded in three stages:

Level I. bronze after 5 jumps
Stage II silver after 20 jumps
Stage III gold after 50 jumps

Carrying method

The parachute jumper badge is worn over the right breast pocket on the service suit in the same way as the activity badge is worn. The limitation also applies.

Permission to wear the parachutist badge is granted with the entry and delivery of the military parachutist license.
