The Falterbräu is a beer brewery in Drachselsried in Lower Bavaria , a municipality in the Regen district . In 2008 the brewery had an annual production of 5,000 hectoliters, and it includes a brewery inn with a beer garden.

history

The brewery was founded by Josef Falter in 1874 and passed on to his son Johannes Baptist Falter. After his second son, Eduard Falter was the fourth owner, and the brewery is still owned by the family in the fifth generation . In addition to a brewery inn, two hydroelectric power plants are also operated, which more than cover the brewery's electricity needs.

One of the grandsons of the brewery founder, Johannes Baptist Falter, took over a brewery in Regen , today's Falter Brewery .

The product range includes the beer types Arber Hell , Arber Pils , Arber Premium , Arber Weisse , Radler , Arber Premium Dunkel , Arber Weisse Dunkel , Kirwa Bier and Eisbock .

It is filled in crown cork bottles .
