Fania Rubina
Fania Rubina (* 1906 in Vilnius , † 1997 in New York City ) was an actress of the Yiddish theater and film and singer.
Life
In the early Yiddish sound film Al Khet she played a supporting role as a singer. Rubina married the actor Gustav Berger (1910-1958) in America in 1940, with whom she had previously played the leading roles in the film My Son (1939). She played in Yiddish theaters in New York and was a member of the Jewish Actors Union ( Hebrew Actors Union ).
