Farid Shawqi
Farid Shawqi ( Arabic فريد شوقي) (Born July 30, 1920 in Cairo ; † July 27, 1998 ibid) was an Egyptian actor, director and film producer. As an actor, he appeared in 361 films. In twelve feature films and twelve television series, Farid Shawqi was mostly used as the leading actor. He produced 26 films and wrote 22 screenplays. Farid Shawqi was one of the most important actors in the Arab world.
