Farmacia is a scientific journal published by the Romanian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences. The magazine sees itself as a continuation of the magazine founded in 1871 under the name Foaia Societatii Farmacistilor Romani - Jurnal Sciintific si Pharmaceutico-Comercial . From 1881 to 1894 it appeared under the name Organul Societatii Farmacistilor din Romania. Foaie pentru stiinta, arta si interesesele farmaceutice . The name was changed to Revista Farmaciei in 1894 and remained in force until 1953. In 1953 the name was changed to Farmacia and a new volume count started, so that this year is considered the date of the magazine's foundation. The magazine is currently published six times a year. Works from the pharmaceutical industry are published.
