Fasa (administrative district)

Fasa ( Persian شهرستان فسا) is an administrative district ( šahrestān ) with a size of 3820 km² in the Iranian province of Fars . The administrative center is located in the city of the same name, Fasa . Other larger cities are Šešdeh and Zāhedšahr. The administrative district borders in the north on the districts Eṣṭahbān / Estahbān and Shiraz , in the east on Eṣṭahbān and Dārāb, in the south on Dārāb and Jahrom and in the west on Jahrom and Shiraz.

Less than half of the area of ​​the administrative district is considered flat land, larger mountains are the Ḵarmā / an with 3185  m in the north, the Pānaʿl ( 2790  m ), Gač and Dehū in the west and Naṣīrābād ( 2066  m ) in the southwest.
