Fasa (administrative district)
Fasa ( Persian شهرستان فسا) is an administrative district ( šahrestān ) with a size of 3820 km² in the Iranian province of Fars . The administrative center is located in the city of the same name, Fasa . Other larger cities are Šešdeh and Zāhedšahr. The administrative district borders in the north on the districts Eṣṭahbān / Estahbān and Shiraz , in the east on Eṣṭahbān and Dārāb, in the south on Dārāb and Jahrom and in the west on Jahrom and Shiraz.
Less than half of the area of the administrative district is considered flat land, larger mountains are the Ḵarmā / an with 3185 m in the north, the Pānaʿl ( 2790 m ), Gač and Dehū in the west and Naṣīrābād ( 2066 m ) in the southwest.
