FastTrack Schedule is project management software . It was developed by AEC Software and is distributed in German-speaking countries by ComputerWorks GmbH. The program supports project managers in planning and implementing projects. The current version is FastTrack Schedule 10, it is supported both Windows and macOS .
Version history and supported platforms
In 1985 AEC Software began developing the FastTrack Schedule project management software . Since then it has been continuously developed.
The project management software runs on macOS and Windows , reads and writes MS Project files and enables data exchange with common solutions and formats such as Mindjet's MindManager , iCalender , MS Excel and HTML . This is particularly advantageous for computer environments with mixed Windows / MAC systems.
Features and user interface
The program enables the user to freely enter process bars with the mouse and to use images. It also enables the use of freely definable text fields and colored progress bars and legends.
The own macro language "FastSteps" allows several menu commands to be executed automatically. For example, a cost report can be generated and printed out with a click of the mouse.
With the consolidation function , sub-projects can be consolidated into a master plan . Changes in the sub-project plans are automatically transferred to the master plan using an update function.
