Fast food rockers

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Fast Food Rockers were a British bubblegum - pop group, consisting of the members Martin Rycroft, Lucy Meggitt and Ria Scott. They achieved several chart placements in the British single charts .

development

With the song Fast Food Song , the band reached number 2 on the British singles chart in 2003. The song uses the melody of the traditional Moroccan song A Ram Sam Sam and, like DJ Ötzi's Burger Dance, is lyrically based on the song Pizzahaha published by the Dutch DJ Eric Dikeb in 2001 , so that the lyrics are mainly based on the names of various fast food chains. The group achieved two more chart successes in 2003. After the album missed a placement, the management decided in 2004 to dissolve the contract and the group.
