Burger Dance is a hit by the Austrian singer DJ Ötzi (feat. Eric Dikeb ) from 2003. It reached the top of the German charts .

The lyrics of the English-language song mainly consist of the names of the fast food chains Pizza Hut , Kentucky Fried Chicken and McDonald’s .

Controversy

VIVA and MTV refused to broadcast the video for Burger Dance for quality reasons . Anti-burger dance websites have been set up. The animal rights organization PETA also criticized the song.

There was a legal dispute over the copyrights of the song, which was originally written by a Belgian composer with Dutch lyrics and licensed by a carnival band for Germany. There is also another previous version with Fast Food Song by the Fast Food Rockers .
