Achim Kleist
Achim Kleist , pseudonym "Frank Lio", (born April 21, 1965 in Altötting , Bavaria ) is a German music producer and composer specializing in pop / rock, film and advertising music and on the board of the Association of German Music Producers (mpag).
Life
Achim Kleist has received over 60 gold and platinum awards for his productions since 1995 . In addition, the titles were in the top 10 of the international charts over 70 times. His single and album records have sold over 20 million copies. In 1993 he founded the production company Syndicate Musicproduction. Since 1998 he has been working with the producer Wolfgang von Webenau (pseudonym "D.Fact").
In 1999 they achieved a world hit with Lou Bega and the track "Mambo No.5". It reached the number 1 radio chart in the USA. The album "A Litte Bit Of Mambo", produced by Achim Kleist and Wolfgang von Webenau and written together with Lou Bega, reached number 3 on the US Billboard charts . The album was in the charts in 34 countries, most of which were in the top 5. In 2000, he was nominated for the Echo for his achievements as a producer .
