Fishing for compliments
Fishing for Compliments was a four-member German girl group from Bergheim .
The band consisted of the sisters Lina Tiedtke (* 1983) and Marlen Tiedtke (* 1986), their cousins Miriam (* 1986) and Rebecca D'Almeida (* 1982, called Becky ).
history
Thanks to numerous television appearances (including on ZDF Chart Attack , VIVA Interaktiv , NBC GIGA and KI.KA Aktiv Boxx ), the band quickly became known among young people and was able to place itself in the German charts with their single Teenager in Love . The song was a remake of the hit by Dion and the Belmonts from 1958, which was enriched with German-language interludes in the rap style.
The band's publications appeared on lautstark , a label of the Bertelsmann Music Group . The video for Teenager in Love was produced by hier & Jetzt Film (Director: Stephan Vollmer).
Lina Tiedtke then turned to acting and took on a leading role in the series Verbotene Liebe .
