From their second album Sex and Travel (1993) the songs Bumped and Hands Up for Lovers were released as a single. This album was also successful and reached number 1 in the charts in Brazil and South Africa .

In 1995 her third album Smashing was released on her own label Happy Valley. However, the three singles Living on a Dream , Everybody Loves Me and Big Time that were extracted from it were only moderately successful.

In 1996 Rob Manzoli left the band. He then worked as a composer and studio musician.

After a long break, Right Said Fred got a record deal with Kingsize Records / BMG Germany at the end of 2000 and had a comeback in 2001 with their fourth album Fredhead . The first single You're My Mate (the song later became the official song of the South African rugby team ) reached number 5 in the German charts and their second single Mojive became the anthem of the Grand Prix in Hockenheim . Their third single Lovesong stayed in the German charts for a total of five months together with the album.

In 2002 their fifth album was released, the second under BMG , Stand Up with the single of the same name.

In the summer of 2003 they appeared as the opening act for Nena on their German tour.

In 2004 a single with Anke Engelke alias Doris Dubinsky was released, which was recorded for the soundtrack of Der Wixxer . This song ( The Wizard ) is originally from the British ska band Madness .

In 2005 the single Where Do You Go to My Lovely (a cover of the title of the same name by Peter Sarstedt ) and the album For Sale were released . In 2019, the single She always laughs , the English version of the title Die immer laughs by Kerstin Ott, was released .
