from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Innovation Prize Fast Forward Award is the official business award of the Austrian state of Styria and has been awarded by the Styrian Economic Development Agency (SFG ) since 1995 .

The Fast Forward Award honors Styrian innovation companies and is awarded in five categories as well as a special Public Forward Award . Four of the five categories result from the size of the company based on the number of employees and the balance sheet total . The fifth category is reserved for institutions and research institutions. Every project submitted in these five categories also takes part in the special Public Forward Award . There is only one winner, who is determined in a three-stage process, with the final decision being made by the audience of the Fast Forward Award finals . There are 3 finalists in each category, i.e. 18 finalists and 6 award winners.

The winners of the individual categories each receive a trophy and a project cost grant of 8,888 euros.
