The Tadano Faun GmbH (proper spelling Tadano Faun) is a German engineering company based in Franconia Lauf . The production only includes mobile cranes . As a 100% subsidiary of the Japanese Tadano Ltd. Tadano Faun GmbH represents the competence center of the Tadano Group with regard to the development and manufacture of Tadano all-terrain cranes . All Tadano all-terrain cranes are developed and produced in the factory in Lauf an der Pegnitz and then worldwide via global sales and service network of Tadano Faun GmbH. In addition to all-terrain cranes, truck-mounted cranes are also developed and built in Lauf, which are mounted on commercially available truck chassis. For the rough-terrain cranes, which are produced exclusively by the parent company in Japan, Tadano Faun GmbH takes on the sales and service organization for Europe and other selected markets within the Tadano Group.

The company's origins include the Nuremberg foundry founded in 1845 by Justus Christian Braun , which specialized in fire extinguishing equipment. The rest of the company was founded in 1990 by the Japanese mobile crane manufacturer Tadano Ltd. accepted. From this point on, Faun GmbH represented the manufacturing company, Tadano Faun GmbH the sales company. Since 2012, both companies have merged to form the sole Tadano Faun GmbH.

Products
