Fausto Pinto (born August 8, 1983 in Culiacán , Sinaloa ) is a Mexican football player on the position of defender .

Life

Pinto began his professional career in the 2001/02 season at CF Pachuca , where he was under contract until the end of 2008. During this time he won four championship titles with the Tuzos , three times the CONCACAF Champions' Cup and once the Copa Sudamericana . He has been under contract with Cruz Azul since the beginning of 2009 .

National team

Between 2007 and 2010, Pinto completed a total of 25 international appearances. He made his debut in the dress of the Mexican national team on June 27, 2007 in a 2-0 win over Brazil at the Copa America . His last international match so far was the encounter with Spain on August 11, 2010, which ended 1: 1.
