Fausto Saraceni

Fausto Saraceni was an Italian screenwriter , producer and film director .

Saraceni made his debut as a director in 1952 when he worked with Ennio De Concini to stage the documentary soccer film Gli undici moschettieri , which was also written by both of them . Then he went completely into the field of documentary film and presented two works in 1957 and 1959 respectively. His next area of ​​responsibility was production manager, which he had already carried out for King Vidor's War and Peace . Finally, from 1965 onwards, he was the executive producer - and often the organizer for Dino De Laurentiis - and main producer responsible for around twenty films, including genre products and more sophisticated films such as Metello by Mauro Bolognini and Saraceni's probably most important film, Der Garten der Finzi Contini , are located. 1978 is the year of his last film.
