Federico Quintana Achával

Federico Quintana Achával (born May 21, 1910 in Berlin ; † August 1, 2000 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine ambassador .

Life

Federico Quintana Achával was the son of Clerrentina Achával Rodríguez and Federico Máximo Quintana (born October 30, 1875 in Buenos Aires; † 1941), from August 29, 1928 to 1939 Argentine ambassador to Santiago de Chile . He went to school in the German Empire and Switzerland and studied at the Escolar Nav. De Chile and at the Catholic University of Santiago de Chile . His father was accredited in Madrid during World War II .

From 1943 to 1944 Federico Quintana Achával was Embassy Secretary in La Paz, from 1945 to 1951 he was Embassy Secretary in London , 1951 Embassy Secretary in Colombia , 1952 Embassy Secretary in Italy , 1954 Embassy Counselor in Canada and Norway . From 1963 to 1966 he was ambassador to Jakarta , Indonesia , from 1969 to 1970 he was ambassador to Prague, Washingtonova 25.

Quintana was married to Angélica Becú de Quintana Achával. He was employed at the embassies to the Holy See, in Paris, in Sydney, in Lisbon, in Cairo and in Sofia.
