Feilaifeng rock sculptures
The Feilaifeng rock sculptures ( Chinese 飛來峰 造像 / 飞来峰 造像 , Pinyin Fēiláifēng zàoxiàng , English Feilaifeng Cliffside Sculptures / Sculptures of Feilai feng Peak ) are Buddhist sculptures from the period of the Five Dynasties to the Ming Dynasty . They come mainly from the time of the Mongol rule .
You are in front of the Lingyin Monastery ( 靈隐寺 / 灵隐寺 , Língyǐn sì ) in the area of the prefecture-level city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province , China .
The Feilaifeng rock sculptures have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China in Zhejiang (2-15) since 1982 .
