Felchow is a district of the community of Schöneberg in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg .
The place is 6 kilometers from Angermünde on the state road 284.
history
The oldest traces of settlement in the area are from the Neolithic Age. In the 13th century the place was laid out as an anger village. The oldest mention of Velchow is from 1354 . It belonged to Brandenburg since the 15th century. In 1637 and 1638 the village was devastated in the Thirty Years' War and then rebuilt.
In 1608 there were two knights' seats , 15 farmers and 16 kossas . The castle was built by Friedrich August Stüler . In 1860 21 residential and nine farm buildings, including a brick factory, were mentioned.
In 2001 Felchow was incorporated into the Schöneberg community.
