It is a one-piece moth on a round hill. The Felddieksboll has a height of 43.6 m above sea level and thus reaches 9 meters above the landscape. The hill is with moats surrounding (moats), for Felddieksboll heard an almost square Holzung the northeast concludes with a body of water. The tower hill castle was possibly a predecessor of the slightly distant moated castle Gut Loxten . The land map of the Osnabrück land survey of 1788 shows the woodwork in the Loxten district, in the northern part of which there is a piece of trench running from west to east. It is possible that this was a place of refuge.
