Felice Farina (born August 14, 1954 in Rome ) is an Italian actor , screenwriter and film director .

Life

Farina began as an actor in avant-garde productions and then switched to work in animation film and specialist in optical effects as an employee of Carlo Ventimiglia's studio. After a short film, Il mentatore , which he shot in 1982, he made his feature film debut in 1986 with the unusual Sembra morto… ma è solo svenuto , which at the time was quite influential on the cinematic language of others with an aura of evil. Farina's subsequent work was also received positively by the critics.

In 1995, Farina and Eleonora Fiorini presented a discussion of ecology , Bidoni , in which he also played one of the leading roles, which was welcomed by environmentalists . He shot his other films of the 1990s for Italian television, for which he had developed the sitcom Stazione di servizio with Bruno Corbucci . In 1999 the success of Nebbia in Val Padana, filmed with Cochi Ponzoni and Renato Pozzetto , led to eight follow-up films, also for television.

Farina's films in the new millennium could not repeat this success.

In addition to his work on feature films, Farina also made documentaries, worked as a sculptor and developed technical solutions for camera problems.
