Felipe Arriaga
Felipe Arriaga (actually José Luis Aguilar Oseguera , born September 27, 1937 at Rancho El Pitayo, Cotija de La Paz , † November 3, 1988 in Mexico City ) was a Mexican singer and actor .
Life
Arriaga was born one of eleven children to his parents and left school at an early age to help support the family as a shoe shine. After moving to the Mexican capital, Arriaga became a mariachi singer and worked with Don Gerardo ; he also made friends with the ranchera singer Vicente Fernández ; both linked their careers.
He made several records and appeared in about 20 films as an actor. In 1988 he was shot dead while having dinner with his family in a restaurant.
