Felipe Bojalil Gil
Felipe Bojalil Gil ( El Charro Gil ; born April 21, 1912 in Misantla , † 1956 ) was a Mexican singer and composer.
Gil belonged to a family of musicians. The brother of Alfredo , Carlos , Pablo and Chucho Martínez Gil came to be known as El Charro Gil . He founded the group El Charro Gil Y Sus Caporales , with whom he recorded several albums in the 1930s and 1940s. His songs like El tilín tolón , Vida azul , El piojo y la pulga , Lilongo , Canta Morena , El pijul and Quihubo have been interpreted by many Mexican singers. In 1939 he married the singer Eva Garza . Her son Felipe Bojalil Garza also became known as a singer.
