Felipe Lacueva

Felipe H. Lacueva († October 3, 1897 ) was a Uruguayan politician .

Lacueva first sat in the 10th legislative period from February 15, 1868 to April 6, 1869 as a member of the Canelones Department in the Cámara de Representantes . From April 28, 1873 to March 9, 1876 he held a new mandate. This time, however, he represented the Department of Paysandú in the Chamber of Deputies, where he only acted as a deputy in the 11th legislative period. In 1876 he also held the post of Second Vice President of the Chamber. There followed from February 15, 1882 to February 14, 1885 and from February 15, 1888 to February 14, 1894 further terms as representatives of the people for Paysandú and from February 15, 1894 to February 14, 1897 for the Department of San José . During this phase he took over the position of First Chamber Vice-President from 1894 to 1896. In 1895 he also led it as chairman. On February 11, 1897, he moved to the Senate as a deputy . The Senator for San José died there on October 3rd of the same year during his tenure.
