Patrick Cothias
Patrick Cothias (born December 31, 1948 in Paris ) is a French comic book author for comics of various genres.
From 1975 Cothias wrote the series Sandberg Père et Fils for the Spanish draftsman Alfonso Font , which was printed in the magazine Pif Gadget . From 1980 Masquerouge ( Eng .: The Red Falcon , Feest) followed for the draftsman André Juillard . The series Orn and the two-volume Snork Saga followed . From 1981, Glénat published Les 7 Vies de l'Épervier (English: The 7 Lives of the Falcon , Carlsen) again for the draftsman Juillard . Since then his authorship has boomed and he created the scenarios for 36 series with a total of over 160 albums. Around 2000 things got a little quieter around him and he also became active as a novelist.
Cothias has been with the Grand Angle publishing house since 2006. There he first wrote the three-part Le sceau de l'Ange . Since 2010, together with co-author Patrice Ordas, a wealth of other mini-series have been created - such as L'Ambulance 13 (German at comicplus + under the title Ambulanz 13 ; draftsman: Alain Mounier ) about a surgeon in the First World War , Nous, Anastasia R. (draftsman: Nathalie Berr ) about Anastasia Nikolajewna Romanowa , La Rafale (draftsman: Winoc ) about the Indochina War and SOS Lusitania (draftsman: Jack Manini ) about various passengers of the RMS Lusitania .
