Felix Handschke (born September 17, 1990 ) is a German handball player .

Career

At the age of ten, Handschke began playing handball at the Neuss handball club. In 2003 he then moved to the C-youth of TSV Bayer Dormagen , where he reached the German championship final in the B-youth 2006, but had to admit defeat to SC Magdeburg . In the summer of 2007 Handschke moved to the Baltic Sea coast and played for the A-youth from HC Empor Rostock, who played in the regional league . Handschke made his second division debut as a youth player on May 2, 2009 at a guest appearance in Magdeburg. Handschke also played with Doberaner SV in the Regionalliga Nord / Ost with double right to play. For the 2010/11 season Handschke moved to TUSEM Essen in the 2nd Bundesliga . In 2012 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with TUSEM . For the 2013/14 season Handschke went to SG OSC Löwen Duisburg. In January 2015, he moved to the Neuss AGM. With Neuss, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2017 . Since then, the men's teams from Neuss and the HSG Düsseldorf have been playing as HC Rhein Vikings.

Felix Handschke is single and has successfully completed an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman (2010). His father Maik Handschke also played handball successfully, including several years in the German Bundesliga.
