Felix Scheuerpflug

Felix H. Scheuerpflug (born March 28, 1964 ) is a German-American concert organizer, artist manager, author and former swimmer.

Life

After graduating from high school in Germany and studying in the USA, he worked for the sports manager Ion Țiriac and founded his own company in 1986, with which he organized sports and tennis events, e.g. B. carried out the first women's tennis show match in Germany. Under his direction, tennis tournaments were held annually in Germany and the USA, some as part of the ATP Tour . He is one of the founders of the ATP Tour of Champions.

He started as a swimmer for the EOSC club from Offenbach am Main and was champion over 100 m back at the German swimming championships in 1984 .

Felix Scheuerpflug has also been a concert organizer, promoter and founder of corporate partnerships since 1992. One of the most important clients and partners from 1992 until his death was the Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti . The collaboration with Pavarotti included the organization of concerts and tours by the Three Tenors and the benefit concert series Pavarotti & Friends . He published a book about Pavarotti and continues his charitable commitment with the “Luciano Pavarotti Tribute Projects”.

In 1993 and 1994 Scheuerpflug was head of public relations for the Federal CDU and was involved in the election campaign for Chancellor Helmut Kohl, as well as in numerous state and European elections.

Scheuerpflug is Chairman and Founder of GlobalAlerts, a Frankfurt-based company. GlobalAlerts is a worldwide used alert system.

Scheuerpflug is also the initiator of TheDOME, a multifunctional arena planned at Frankfurt Airport. He is also the managing director of TheDOME consortium with the Canadian Katz Group.
