Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in West Africa

The Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in West Africa (FECCIWA) is an umbrella organization of Christian churches and ecumenical organizations in West Africa.

The organization was founded in 1994 with the aim of strengthening ecumenical cooperation in the region and establishing national Christian church councils where they do not yet exist. It should also support the overall development of the region in terms of stability and prosperity. In the past few years she has been involved in the peace process in Liberia . FECCIWA is a member of the World Council of Churches . Several national church councils in West Africa belong to it, for example the Christian Council of Nigeria . FECCIWA is headquartered in Accra in Ghana . The current Secretary General of the organization is Baffour Dokyi Amoa .
