Femitainment

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Femitainment is a trunk word from feminism and entertainment . In the course of the dispute between Alice Schwarzer and Federal Family Minister Kristina Schröder (CDU) about the role of the women's movement, it was first used publicly when Christiane Hoffmann published an editorial under this title in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung . In it, she accused Alice Schwarzer of having brought unnecessary harshness to the struggle for interpretative sovereignty over feminism and of practicing feminine mentation in every alley , which in turn puts Alice Schwarzer on par with Hansdampf .

The jury for the Word of the Year 2010 put the word in ninth place.
