Fenua Tapu with the place Tanrake is a reef island of the Nui -Atoll in the Pacific island state Tuvalu .

geography

Fenua Tapu is the main island in the south of the atoll. It stretches from the west in an arc to the east. The main settlement (Nui Malae) of the island with school, infirmary and church is located at the west end, where a boat canal has also been built, while in the east there are mainly coconut plantations. Pongalei joins to the northeast .
