Ferdinand Drexler

Ferdinand Drexler (born October 18, 1912 in Bruch ; † February 18, 1994 in Nuremberg ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Drexler attended the commercial academy in Teplitz-Schönau and graduated with distinction. This was followed by a varied practice in industry and administration before he was drafted into the Wehrmacht in January 1940 and was thus active in the war in the west and east. From 1946 to 1949 he was a member of the district refugee committee and chairman of the district housing committee in Dinkelsbühl .

From 1948 to 1951 Drexler was chairman of the SPD district parliamentary group in Dinkelsbühl, and in 1950 he became district secretary of the SPD in Nuremberg. From 1952 to 1954 and from 1957 to 1974 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
