The building was built in 1898. It was entered under No. F 028 on September 7, 1995 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
In the northern urban expansion area, directly in front of the railway bridge spanning the Hermann Piecq facility , there is the three-storey three-storey house with a two-storey extension. Façade design in the structure typical of the Rheinische Dreifensterhaus. Horizontally structured by means of sill and floor cornices as well as a protruding, console-supported eaves cornice . Emphasis on the wall surface of the ground floor - the entrance to the house deeply cut to the left - through strong imitation of cuboids and keystones . Structuring through joint cuts on the first floor and only fine profile strips on the smoothly plastered second floor. In total fülligem facade decorated the first floor will be through consuming windowsill for Beletage upgraded. All facade windows are uniformly rectangular in shape. Those on the ground floor are unadorned cut into the wall surface; on the first floor they are emphasized by a console-supported aedicle imitation with segmented gable (in the middle) and on the right and left by beam-bearing pilasters , which are taken up again in a simplified or varied form on the second floor. A gable roof , barely noticeable from the street view , completes the building.
